Proffee is an iced coffee drink made with protein — convenient, tasty and easy to make at home. It helps you achieve two goals in one: getting your caffeine fix and upping your protein intake.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1 scoop of either Cacao + Collagen, True Collagen, Brave Ancestral Protein, or Wild Collagen
  • 60ml of milk of your choosing
  • 1 cup of ice

Method

Mix the powder with a little cold milk to make a paste. Then, brew your coffee and combine it with the milk and protein. Finally, add the ice and blend, adding a little more milk if you prefer a creamier taste. Pour and enjoy!

Choosing your protein

Collagen (True Collagen or Wild Collagen): Hydrolysed collagen peptides digest quickly, dissolve easily, and are neutral-tasting — ideal if you have sensitive digestion or simply prefer a clean flavour. They provide around 4.5g of protein per 5g dose. Pair with a protein-rich plant milk to help reach your daily protein needs.

Coffee + Collagen: A ready-made Proffee ingredient. Simply brew and pour over your choice of milk and ice — the protein from the collagen is already combined with ashwagandha, cacao, baobab, and gut-supportive prebiotics from chicory root.

Brave Ancestral Protein: Packs in 22g of protein per serving and a naturally sweeter flavour from raw cacao. Made with Actazin green kiwi enzymes for easier digestion — a great choice if you want to seriously top up your daily protein without the digestive strain.

Notes on quality

Whichever protein you choose, quality matters. Pre-made protein shakes can contain gums, artificial sweeteners, and filler additives. Check your ingredient list for whole-food sources and minimal processing. For milk, consider full-fat organic dairy or plant milks free from gums, industrial seed oils, and stabilisers.
