Easy Protein Pancakes Made with Brave Ancestral Protein

Support your protein intake with this tasty, nutrient-rich protein pancake recipe. A great alternative to traditional pancakes, this nourishing recipe is easy to make at home and uses Brave Ancestral Protein. Perfect for pancake day or whenever you're craving a sustaining pancake snack.

Ingredients

  • 30g Brave Ancestral Protein
  • 1½ bananas
  • 2 tbsp self-raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • A splash of milk (30ml)
  • A small amount of butter

For the topping:

  • A handful of berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • 1 scoop of True Collagen

Method

Step 1: Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork until smooth. Then, add the egg and mix well.

Step 2: Stir in 30g of Brave Ancestral Protein using your Ancestral Protein Scoop to get the perfect pour.

Step 3: Once the protein has been fully combined, add the self-raising flour and mix to form a thick batter.

Step 4: Finally, pour in a splash of milk and whisk the mixture until light and smooth.

Cooking tips

  • Add the heat: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and melt a small knob of butter.
  • Centre your mix: Spoon 3 tablespoons of the pancake mixture into the centre of the pan.
  • Go for gold: Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook for another couple of minutes until golden on both sides.

High-protein topping

Mix the Greek yoghurt in a bowl with True Collagen, then stack your pancakes and top with your favourite fruit, and a little more yoghurt. Enjoy!
